We want to give users greater editing flexibility on journal entries that they create and allow for more granular categorization of transactions, so we’ve added a way to add departments by line item during your Journal entries. This way, you can easily track your accounting transactions and assign them to the correct department, all while creating your journal entry. And if an entire journal entry is for one department you can set it for all line items so you don’t have to continually select the same department. How’s that for smart software?
