We’re excited to announce a brand new feature for our employee timekeeping mobile app, My Patriot! Introducing customizable push notifications!

What are Push Notifications?

Push notifications are those handy little alerts you see pop up on your phone, even when you’re not actively using the app. With our new feature, you can choose to receive timely notifications about specific events related to your timesheets.

The Initial Rollout: Manage Your Timesheets on the Go

In this initial release, we’re focusing on empowering employees to stay on top of timesheets with these key notification options:

  • Time Card Nudges: Did you forget to submit your timesheet for the week? No worries! Enable push notifications for reminders from your manager to submit your timesheet before the deadline.
  • Time Card Approvals: Waiting on your manager’s approval for your timesheet? Opt in for push notifications to get an instant heads-up when your timesheet has been reviewed and approved.
  • Time Card Rejections: Need to address any discrepancies on your timesheet? Push notifications will alert you when your timesheet is rejected, allowing you to review and resubmit.
  • Comments: Did your manager make or respond to a comment on your timecard? We’ll let you know.

How to Enable Push Notifications

Enabling push notifications is easy! Be sure you have downloaded the most recent version of the My Patriot app from the Apple Apps Store or Google Play Store. Upon opening the app, you’ll be prompted to allow push notifications.  You can also manage your notification preferences directly within the app settings.
