You can now add auto-gratuities in Patriot, making it simpler to include service charges in payroll and keep W-2 reporting accurate.
Employee Profile Pictures
Put a face to the name. Add employee profile photos to make records easier to recognize, and let employees update their own picture right from the employee portal.
Sticky Account Headers

Longer Plaid Connections
We’ve increased Plaid disconnection times to 120 days without activity, so you can get your quarterly bank transactions in without needing to reconnect.
Payroll Report Search Improvements
You can now search by Employee Name and Location on the Payroll Details report.
Overtime Hours Auto-Fill
On pay Step 1a for federal overtime, you can now copy and prefill the federal OT hours from the paid OT hours using the new “Auto-Fill All” link at the top right.
Clearer Auto Payroll Messaging
We’ve added more specific messaging when an auto payroll gets cancelled because of a change that inactivates the auto payroll.

Say goodbye to manually recording Stripe processing fees. We’ve added a setting for Stripe Transaction Fees — turn it on and future invoice payments will post fees automatically to your chosen expense account.

Running payroll just got a built-in safety check. Patriot now flags any employee with a negative time-off balance right at step 1, so you can fix the hours or move forward with confidence.
