It is very important to keep all your money numbers correct. That starts with your beginning balances, which are the first numbers you put into the system. If you make mistakes when you type them in, or if numbers get messed up when you move them from an old program, you need to fix them fast.
Patriot Software now makes it super easy to correct these starting numbers. We made the fixing tool simpler to use, so you don’t have to work so hard.
Now, you can change, undo, or completely erase any starting money number with just one click! You can do this right inside the list called the Activity by Account Report. This list shows you everything that happened in that account. You don’t have to search through confusing settings—you just click and fix the number right there.
We also make sure you can always see the changes you make. Every time you change a starting number, the computer carefully writes it down. We keep a big record of all your changes in a special list called the Modified Transactions Report. This report is like a diary of changes. It helps you keep track of who fixed the number and when they did it.
This way, it is easy to fix mistakes, and you always have proof that your money numbers are correct and following the rules.
