Exciting news for our accounting users who accept Stripe payments: managing your transaction fees just became a whole lot smoother.

You can now turn on a setting to automatically record Stripe transaction fees for future invoices paid through Stripe. Once enabled, Patriot will record the fee to your selected expense account, helping your invoice payment, bank deposit, and fee expense stay neatly connected without extra manual entry.

That means you can spend less time chasing tiny fee differences and more time doing, well, literally anything else.

Here’s what this helps you do:

  • Keep income reporting accurate by tracking the gross invoice amount and Stripe fee separately
  • Cut down on month-end cleanup from small payment discrepancies
  • See how much you’ve paid in Stripe processing fees over time in reporting
