Time Off Request Report

Background

The Time Off Request Report shows time off requests in a report view so you can quickly see who requested time off, when, and whether it was approved.

Before you begin, make sure you have enabled the Time Off Requests feature for your company. See Time Off Request Management for more info.


How to View Employee Time off Requests

  1. Go to Reports > Time and Attendance > Time Off Request Reports
  2. You can filter by:
    • Request Date Range -Requested time off will display for the date range selected
      • Defaults to beginning of last month through end of next month
    • Current Status – approved, pending, rejected
    • Hour type name – defaults to show all time off hours 
    • Employee name – defaults to show all employees
  3. Click “Run Report”
  4. The report columns will display:
    • Employee Name
    • Start Date: first day of the requested time off
    • End Date: last day of the requested time off
    • Current Status: Approved, Pending, or Denied
    • Paid Hours / Unpaid Hours
    • Hours: total hours requested
    • Hour Type Name: PTO, Sick, Vacation, etc
    • Decision Note: note added by the manager or payroll admin when approving or denying the request
    • Request Note: note added by the employee when submitting the request
    • Submitted Timestamp: when the employee submitted the request
    • Decision Timestamp: when the employer or manager approved or denied the request
  5. Click the “Download Spreadsheet” link for a CSV of the report.
