We’ve implemented several key updates to the Patriot Payroll to Patriot Accounting integration, designed to provide greater control and flexibility. These changes address common user requests and lay the groundwork for future enhancements.
- Detailed Net Pay Tracking: You can track paper checks and direct deposit pay to seperate accounts if needed.
- Employee-Level Insight: Choose a summary journal entry or choose to record payroll to accounting by employee. We’ve also given you a flexible option to record non-direct deposit net pay by employee, even when your journal entry is set to “Summary.”
- Enhanced Tax Categorization: Full-Service Payroll Customers can now add a new account specifically for the rare calculated liabilities that Patriot does not remit, such as the New York Employee Commuter Expense Program (NY ECEP) and NY & HI state disability insurances. Say goodbye to manual adjustments and hello to streamlined tax management.
- “No Integration” Option: We added a much-requested “No Integration” option. Now, you have the freedom to choose when and how you integrate your payroll data, giving you ultimate control over your workflow.
- Journal Entry Preview Option: Just select a previous payroll to preview how your new payroll integration settings looks before saving. How cool is that?
And, we’re not done yet! We’re actively working on more exciting features and improvements, so stay tuned for future updates!
