Patriot has partnered with Stride to offer 1099 workers access to affordable individual health insurance. Contractors will see messaging in their portal, and software users will have information in our Marketplace.

Contractor Pay Stub Improvements

Say goodbye to check stub clutter! We’ve improved the layout for Contractor and Vendor stubs by matching 1099 line items into one concise entry.


P&L Report Date Selector

We’ve revamp our date selector and also introduced a new “Date Period” option, giving you more flexibility when generating reports.


Bank Feed Improvement

We’ve updated our Plaid integration to support importing up to 2 years (730 days) of transaction history. Importing banking history has never been easier!


W-2 School District Tax Display

On Form W2 in Box 20 – Ohio School District (SD) Locality Names have now been replaced by 4 digit Codes. Making this transition is eliminating the issues of some SD names being to long and not fitting into the W2 box.

Closed Time Card Notification

We’ve added a notification when a time card is approved and closed solving and the mystery for employees when they can’t clock in.

We cleaned up the wording in Hour Type settings, so it’s obvious which options impact time-off balances and when to use them.

Geotagging Restriction Messages

New messaging gives employees who are required to use geotagging notice to update their settings in their mobile phone.

FLSA Overtime

Now when you pay an employee over
40 hours and put hours in the overtime or double time boxes, you’ll be presented with step 1A to indicate which hours are FLSA overtime so W2s will be accurate.


TTOC for Tipped Employees

We’ve added an easy drop down to select required Treasury Tipped Occupation Codes (TTOC) for tipped roles for seamless 2026 W-2 reporting. You can add TTOC codes to as many roles as needed.
