Entering Payroll History in the Wizard
After adding employees in the payroll wizard, Kate, our fictional character, needs to enter in payroll history which is all of the payrolls that have been given to the employees during the current year. This is an important step so that at the end of the year the employee receives one W-2 form from Kate complete with all payrolls. Entering payroll history is also important to enter because some taxes have a wage base limit, and don’t need to be calculated or collected after the amount has been reached.
