View Patriot Invoice Charges to Your Credit Card
In this article:
Patriot will charge your credit card on a monthly basis for the software you use each month. Your monthly charge will automatically hit your credit card on the 1st day of the month.
Where can I find my software invoices?
Invoices are paperless but can be downloaded anytime. To see your monthly software charges from Patriot Software:
- Go to: Settings > Account Activity > View Billing Activity
- Change the date range if needed
- By default, the report shows transactions from the last 90 days through the next 7 days.
- Click “Run Report.”
- Sort your results:
- Click the arrow beside any column header to sort by that column.
- Click again to reverse the order (ascending/descending).
- View Transaction Details:
- Each Transaction ID in the first column is a clickable link. Select the Transaction ID to open details for that charge.
- You can save or print the PDF.
Why was my credit card charged after I canceled?
Patriot bills in arrears, which means you use the software first and then pay for it afterward.
Here’s how it works:
- At the start of each month, Patriot reviews your account activity from the previous month.
- We calculate how many days your software was active and, if applicable, how many employees you paid.
- An invoice is then created, and your credit card is charged.
Example: A February 1 invoice covers your software use from January 1–31.
So, if you canceled in January, you’ll still see a final charge in February for the time you used the software before canceling.
