What Is My Company Local Tax?
When you complete the Company Tax Settings for your business in Patriot Software, the Local Tax Area field will most likely be already filled in. Patriot Software uses the address(es) that you enter for each work location. As a new customer in the wizard, you will be able to confirm your location tax jurisdiction and change if needed.
If you need to change your local tax area after you have completed the wizard, go to Settings > Payroll Settings > Tax Location. For each work location you have added, you can select a different local tax area, based on the choices within your zip code. If local tax does not apply to your business, select “No local tax.”
