California (Personal Income Tax) Withholding Deposit Frequencies

California withholding tax or personal income tax (PIT) has specific deposit requirements based on the amount of tax you owe. Each company is required to deposit each quarter or sooner based on the tax you owe.

As a full-service Patriot customer, Patriot automatically sets your deposit frequency to “Quarterly.” We’ll keep track of the tax that you owe so that if you need to pay more frequently, the software automatically handles that for you and changes the deposit frequency on your behalf.

For more information about the deposit requirements for California, see this page from the EDD website:  Make Your Payroll Tax Deposits On Time.
