If your business is in Arizona, please note that the Arizona minimum wage has increased to $7.90 per hour, effective January 1, 2014. This makes Arizona one of 21 states with minimum wage rates higher than the federal minimum wage rate of $7.25.
Experts anticipate more and more states will follow that trend even as the legislature is considering an increase to the federal minimum wage rate.
