Payroll customers will now see more guidance when adding company-level employee deductions and company-paid contributions. In some cases, a deduction or contribution dollar amount must be reported in a specific box on the employee’s Form W-2. Based on the deduction type you choose, the W-2 Box and W-2 Label fields will now be pre-filled. You should still confirm via IRS W-2 Instructions that you are using the correct Box and Label.
