This year, Small Business Saturday will take place on November 26. The day is designed to promote the importance of shopping at small businesses, also known as the Shop Small Movement.
Created in 2010 by American Express, Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity for small businesses to advertise, offer incentives to customers, and join together with local communities. Small Business Saturday has become a national movement, with 95 million consumers shopping at small businesses on the day in 2015 alone.
“National corporations have Black Friday and online stores have Cyber Monday. Small Business Saturday falls smack dab in between the two. Coincidence?
