How are the employee paycheck deductions and employer contributions calculated?
SimplyInsured will send Patriot the monthly costs for both the employee and employer. Patriot will annualize the cost and divide by the number of paychecks per year, depending on the employee’s pay schedule.
For example:
The employee cost is $100 per month and is paid weekly (52 times per year).
$100 x 12 months = $1200 / 52 = $23.08 per pay
The employee cost is $100 per month and is paid biweekly (26 times per year).
$100 x 12 months = $1200 / 26 = $46.15 per pay
