Q. What is Patriot TIME?
A: Patriot TIME is an online time and attendance system that works with Patriot PAY payroll software and the optional MY Patriot Employee Portal software.

Q. How does Patriot TIME work?
A: Patriot TIME can be a great alternative to a traditional time clock system. You can enter hours on behalf of your employees, or give them access to the MY Patriot Employee Portal, where they can record the time they clocked in and out, see their remaining vacation hours, and enter comments.

Q: Why should I use Patriot TIME?
A: A software-based time & attendance (T&A) system simplifies the collection of hours for payroll processing (especially if you currently use a traditional time clock system or paper time cards). From a business and legal standpoint, Patriot TIME will help you meet recordkeeping requirements. Patriot TIME is an online system, accessible from anywhere with Internet access 24/7: No software installations, maintenance upgrades, data backups and restores, or time clock system repairs.

Q: What reports come with Patriot TIME?
A: Patriot TIME has a TIME Summary report which will allow you to report on any date range, employees and hours types.

Q: What pay frequencies does Patriot TIME support?
A: Currently, you can use the time and attendance software for weekly or biweekly employees. We are planning to support semi-monthly time cards in the near future.

Q: Can Patriot TIME handle overtime and double-time calculations?
A: Yes. Patriot TIME comes with the standard "over 40 hours/week" overtime rule already set up. For California employees, the system will calculate based on California overtime and double-time rules.

Q: Can I use Patriot TIME standalone without using Patriot's other software?
A: No. Patriot TIME works with Patriot PAY payroll software, the base component. MY Patriot, our Employee Portal module, is another option, allowing employees to enter their time worked. When TIME, PAY, and MY Patriot are used together, you have a great alternative to a time clock system and a new way to run payroll. Our integrated software gives you a common interface for payroll, time & attendance recordkeeping, and employee access.

Q: How do I become a Patriot TIME customer?
A: If you already use Patriot PAY, you can add Patriot TIME online by logging into your account and visiting the “Add or Cancel Software” page. If you're a new customer, you can select Patriot TIME during the sign-up process.
