Viewing Your Billing Activity In Patriot Software
As a Patriot Software customer, there are two types of transactions you may be charged for: 1) Software Fees and 2) Payroll Taxes (if you are using TaxBeGone). The billing details are paperless, and are available for download while logged into Patriot PAY. You will find them on the HOME tab, under the "View Billing Activity" link. A summary of any new activity will also be emailed to you.
The billing activity is grouped into two sections: Credit Card Activity for Software/Service Fees and Bank Account Activity for Payroll Taxes. Bank account charges will only appear for TaxBeGone customers. By default, transactions dated 90 days prior to today and those dated 7 days beyond today are displayed. To change the range of transactions to display, simply enter new dates in the "from" and "to" fields and click Run. You may change the sort order of the results by clicking on the appropriate column header name to toggle between ascending and descending sort order.
For Credit Card Activity, your card will be charged on the 5th day of each month. For Bank Activity, we will withdraw (or deposit when appropriate) the taxes from your bank account on the transaction date. Once collection has been initiated, the Status will change from "Pending" to "Processed." For bank activity, if several transactions are collected on the same day, it will appear on your bank statement as one combined amount.
To view charge details, click on the Transaction ID number. A new web browser page will open and the billing details will appear for saving or printing.
