Q: What is Patriot HR?
A: Patriot HR online software that helps you to manage your employee information in an easy-to-use format, from anywhere there's an Internet connection. Patriot HR is an add-on module to our Patriot PAY online payroll system, and can only be used with Patriot PAY. When used together, you have a common interface to your payroll and can view your HR online.

Q: What does Patriot HR do?
A: With Patriot HR, you can easily keep track of your employee's information, such as job history, employment dates, emergency contacts, notes, and electronic file attachments.

Q: How do I start using Patriot HRonline?
A: If you already use Patriot PAY, you can add Patriot HR online by going to the “Add/Remove Software” page. If you are a new customer, you will select Patriot HR online during the sign-up process.

Q: How does the Document Storage feature work?
A: Document Storage allows you to scan, upload, and store electronic files, thereby reducing the amount of paper files you need to keep at your office. This is very useful for employee personnel file items, and other items you routinely file. All major file formats can be stored including .doc, .xls, .pdf, .txt, HTML, .gif, .jpg, and .tif images. These files can then be accessed from anywhere you are able to access Patriot HR online.

Q: What types of reports are available?
A: Patriot HR will have census reports including employee statistics such as birthday and anniversary dates, new hire reporting, and retirement plan contributions. We are adding new reports with every release of the software. See the complete list of HR Reports.

Q: Can I use Patriot HR standalone without using Patriot's other software offerings?
A: No, Patriot PAY is a base component necessary for the proper operation of Patriot HR.  However, none of the other Patriot offerings are required in order to use the Patriot HR online software.
